Fiona Bryant
KS2 English & Maths / KS3 Maths
Fiona has worked in education and childcare settings for the past 25 years alongside volunteering in youth groups and being a parent. Learner-led education is at the heart of her practice, understanding that flexibility is important to meet the needs of individuals with different learning styles and SEND. In addition to taking courses to benefit her professional development, she studies karate and is an archery instructor!
Sophie Walsh
KS3 / GCSE English Literature & Language
Sophie is an enthusiastic A-level student studying English Literature, English Language and Psychology. She is highly motivated to help other students gain confidence in English skills so that they can achieve their best potential. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys playing sports and loves spending time with her Labrador, Barney. She has a passion for animals and wildlife - especially documentaries narrated by David Attenborough!
Jason Gillman
GCSE / A-level English Literature & Language
Having spent 10 years working in the education system, Jason has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience teaching students of all abilities. Before qualifying as an English Teacher, Jason was a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for three years, so he's well-equipped to help tailor-make each lesson to students' needs such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Chronic Anxiety and Autism. Plus, he's also the founder of Mr Gillman Tuition!
Oliver Hammond
GCSE Maths (Higher & Foundation)
A current A level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics, Oliver has a passion for helping others understand the subject that he loves, boosting their confidence and achieving the highest grades they can get. Previous experience in tutoring includes chess, which he competes in. During his spare time, as well as chess and tutoring, he enjoys kickboxing. He also spends a lot of time with his family as he has a lot of siblings!
Paul Sharpe
Tech Club Leader
Paul is an Aerospace Engineer with 15 years of experience in the industry and an avid coder. He's built several drones from scratch and is proficient in computer languages such as Python, C++, Java Script, and much more! Paul's passion is passing on his knowledge to fellow enthusiasts, so look out for one of his courses—all are welcome, no matter the ability level!
Martine Lamour
French Tutor (Beginner & Intermediate)
Martine is a native speaker of French who fell in love with the English language when she was 11! She has volunteered, worked in primary and secondary schools, and taught in further education. For her, teaching a language is a valuable life skill that can lead to exciting opportunities, such as speaking like a local! In her spare time, she enjoys meeting up with her friends usually in front of a delicious meal, swimming and learning Italian!
Nuria Sierra
Spanish Tutor (Beginner & Intermediate)
With a global career spanning the UK, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal, Nuria has cultivated a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and languages. Holding an MBA and over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, she brings strategic thinking and a passion for language to her native Spanish tutoring. In her free time, Nuria enjoys exploring new cultures and languages with her family, fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Melissa McDonald Rayner
Social Media Manager
Melissa is originally from Connecticut, on the northeast coast of the US, and has very much enjoyed having England as her adopted home for the last year and a half. She loves all things social media, creating, and community connections. In her spare time, Melissa can be found trying out new local restaurants, taking walks in the countryside, or listening to true crime podcasts.
Freddie Johnson
Videographer
Freddie is an aspiring filmmaker who has won numerous awards at some film festivals, including Best Short Film, Best Editor & best VFX. Freddie's first love of films came from watching Aardman's Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which is where his passion for stories was enthused. He is currently studying Filmmaking at UWE Bristol, where he hopes to make some more award-winning films.
