We show the relevance of mathematical concepts in everyday life. Sometimes children see Maths in isolation as something that they lack confidence in. Showing them how common Maths is in daily activities, helps to break down barriers in their learning through
real-life application of skills.
Developing fluency and quick recall
We work on strategies to develop fluency by building upon existing knowledge and consolidating their understanding, which in turn aids the commitment of facts to long-term memory.
Multiplication Table Checks
We help children prepare for the multiplication tables check and build solid foundations for their SATs year by teaching them learning tricks to remember difficult tables, playing games, completing challenges and regularly checking their progress to identify their next steps for learning.

Fiona Bryant
Fiona has worked in education and childcare settings for the past 25 years alongside volunteering in youth groups and being a parent. Learner led education is at the heart of her practice, understanding that flexibility is important to meet the needs of individuals with different learning styles and SEND. In addition to taking courses to benefit her own professional development, she studies karate and is an archery instructor!
